You’ll find we have clean and attractive facilities, welcoming and responsive staff, and a beautiful natural setting. Our various facilities are spread out over our grounds, allowing a degree of privacy for groups and plenty of outdoor space with forests, trails, streams, and inspiring mountain vistas.

Facility Availability
Use the calendar below to see which facilities are booked and which might be available. Note that seasonal facilities are not bookable over the winter, and no facilities are bookable more than 2 years in advance. These calendars are updated about once a week (usually Friday mornings), so it is possible that a facility that appears available has been recently booked. If you request a reservation or a quote, Highland staff will be able to confirm if the dates you are interested in are in fact available. More detailed availability calendars for all our facilities are viewable here.

Church campout in Lower Campground and Sassafras, September 2022
We enjoy family vacations with friends in MVRC and the rest of what Highland has to offer. Outdoor rec options and indoor options were all enjoyable and loved. New kitchen is fabulous and commercial dishwasher and stainless steel counters made cleanup a breeze. Staff were, as always, friendly, talkative, and helpful – answering my questions and ensuring our stay was great. Thanks!
