Green Valley House
Located across Rt. 259 from the main Highland grounds, Green Valley House is a secluded retreat space for groups of up to 12 people in any season of the year. The spacious rooms and private outdoor area make it an ideal location for gatherings of family or friends, prayer retreats, church leadership retreats, small group or Sunday School class gatherings, and more. This building is a beautiful, peaceful place for adult retreats, and it is full of interesting nooks that children will enjoy exploring.

Green Valley House amenities
- Six bedrooms arranged in three suites. One suite is on the ground floor and the others are upstairs. Each suite has a bathroom, one bedroom with a queen bed, and one bedroom with two twin beds.
- Linens are provided in the six bedrooms (pillows, sheets, blankets, towels).
- For flexibility in sleeping arrangements, the “bonus room” between the upstairs suites contains two twin cots, as well as a desk and a recliner. The cots are generally NOT provided with sheets and blankets.
- Bedroom 2, one of the rooms with a queen bed, has a spacious closet with its own lighting, which works well as a nursery if your group includes parents with a small child. Bring your own portable baby bed.
- Lounge seating (comfortable couches and chairs) in the two downstairs living rooms and on the upstairs landing.
- The largest living room seats at least 12 people, and also features an electric fireplace, a display screen (bring your own laptop or other device to connect to the screen), some shelves with puzzles and board games, and a table for playing games.
- Two kitchens with appliances, general use cooking equipment, and dinnerware for at least 12 people.
- A dining room with table and chairs for 8-12 people.
- A washer and drier, plus a utility sink, adjacent to the bathroom in Suite A.
- An enclosed porch off the upstairs landing, with stairs down to the yard.
- Lots of bedroom closets, including storage spaces under the eaves in the upstairs bedrooms that children will enjoy exploring.
- Private backyard space that includes a firepit and outdoor seating.
