This week is designed for young people who are interested in growing in leadership skills and faith development, while still enjoying the fun and relaxation of the summer camp setting.

What makes Navigators Camp different from a Resident Camp? The camp will have a similar schedule to our Resident Camps, and Navigators will enjoy many familiar camp activities: swimming, challenge course/Zip Line/climbing tower, hiking, cooking over fires, group games, late night activities, etc. Navigators Camp will also include activity blocks that are geared toward learning Christian leadership tools, strengthening personal faith formation, and developing healthy group dynamics. Topics may include:

• Biblical leaders as examples for today
• Rhythms that draw people closer to God (prayer, Bible reading, music, journaling, mentors)
• How to share the Gospel (your faith story, scriptural study)
• Conflict resolution
• Different personality types and learning styles
• Small group leadership

Note: This camp is required for those planning to participate in the LIT program, but is also open to campers who will not be serving as LITs.

General daily schedule for Navigators Camp:

• 8:00 wake-up
• Breakfast (possibly cooked over the fire)
• Clean cabin and teeth
• Devotional time with Bible lesson
• Activity block(s) – may be “camp” activities, or Navigators-specific activities
• Lunch
• Horizontal/nap time
• Activity block(s) – may be “camp” activities, or Navigators-specific activities
• Supper (possibly cooked over the fire)
• All-camp rec hour
• Evening snack
• Worship time with Bible lesson
• Late night activity
• 11:00 bedtime
