Sassafras Pavilion

Also known as the kitchen deck, Sassafras pavilion provides sheltered seating for groups of 20-100 in the Lower Campground area. Its location near the swimming pool pairs well with lodging in the bunk camping cabins on the pool side of the stream (cabins 6-9), Dogwood or Creekside cottages, or Lower Highland Campground sites.

Sassafras Amenities
  • 16 picnic tables
  • 2 charcoal grills with more than eight square feet of grilling space
  • Plenty of electric outlets near several stainless steel tables
  • A large, three-bay sink for dishwashing and clean water
