July 17-22, 2022 (5 nights and 5 full days)
Check-in: 4pm Sunday; Departure: 4pm Friday

First child $420, siblings $370 (Learn about scholarships and discounts)

Check out The Peak for some new, creative twists to your Highland experience! This fun-filled, action-packed week is designed for middle/high schoolers who will enjoy sleeping in and staying up later. The daily schedule provides opportunities to help build positive relationships with God, staff, and other campers. Topics addressed at Fireside will be relevant for teens, and special late-night activities are planned. Additionally, Peak campers will select an interest group before camp begins, and will spend several hours each day doing activities specifically related to that field of interest.

The Peak: Interest Groups – 2022
Peak campers should sign up for one of the following Interest Group options. A portion of each day will be spent with your interest group, doing the types of activities described below. NOTE: Some interest group activities involve third party programming fees that are passed on as an additional charge to the camper when you sign up. These add-on costs cannot be covered by scholarship funds. Make sure you consider the additional fees when selecting your interest group.

  • Best of Highland – If you loved all the different Highland activities as a younger camper, this one is for you! Enjoy old favorites such as zipline, climbing tower, crafts, and a day hike. (No additional fees.)
  • Highland Hustle – This experience will focus on physical fitness and conditioning, with a qualified leader. Campers will learn useful skills and also practice various drills and activities. (Additional fee: $25)
  • Horseback Riding – Campers with a passion for horses will spend four mornings learning to care for and saddle horses, followed by trail rides through Lost River State Park. (Additional fee: $100)
  • Mountain Adventure – Campers will enjoy exciting excursions for rock climbing, caving, and paddling, led by a professional adventure guide. (Additional fee: $110)
  • Worship Leading – Use your vocal and musical talents to lead evening worship. Instrumentalists should bring their own instruments to camp. They will be stored safely in the youth office when not in use. (No additional fees.)
