Peak Camp

Peak Camp, for ages 13-16

June 25-30, 2023 (5 nights and 5 full days) Check-in: 4pm Sunday; Departure: 4pm Friday
First child $455, siblings $405 (Learn about scholarships and discounts)

Check out The Peak for some new, creative twists to your Highland experience! This fun-filled, action-packed week is designed for middle/high schoolers who will enjoy sleeping in and staying up later. The daily schedule provides opportunities to help build positive relationships with God, staff, and other campers. Topics addressed at Fireside will be relevant for teens, and special late-night activities are planned. Additionally, Peak campers will select an interest group before camp begins, and will spend several hours each day doing activities specifically related to that field of interest.

The Peak: Interest Group Subprograms – 2023
Peak campers will sign up for one interest group subprogram, and a portion of each day will be spent with that interest group. NOTE: Some interest group activities involve third party programming fees that are passed on as an additional charge to the camper when you sign up. These add-on costs cannot be covered by scholarship funds. Make sure you consider the additional fees when selecting your interest group.

  • Horseback Riding — Campers will travel to Lost River State Park each morning, Monday-Thursday, for horseback riding with Hidden Trails Stable. They will learn about horse care and then enjoy an extended ride on Thursday to a scenic location in the park. Extra charge $110.
  • Mountain Adventure — Campers will enjoy off-site rock climbing, paddling, and caving experiences led by Lester Zook of WILD GUYde Adventures. Extra charge $130.
  • Best of Highland — Enjoy classic camp activities, including crafts, challenge course, climbing tower, and various group games. No extra charge.
  • There may be other options added in, but those are not yet determined.
