Give

Each year Highland relies on the generosity of donors who help subsidize summer children’s camps, provide camp scholarships, sponsor Highlands Events, and help with major projects.

As a registered 501(c)(3) organization and Christian charity, Highland may issue a tax-deductible receipt for donations.

Project descriptions:

1) Green Valley House mortgage (Goal: $200,000)

Purchased in 2019, Green Valley House contains two separate living spaces that serve as housing for staff (primarily year-round staff) and volunteers. Construction costs for the building renovation (about $350,000) have already been paid; we are raising funds to continue making quarterly payments on the remaining mortgage.

2) Internship Program start-up costs (Goal: $25,000)

Highland is partnering with the tranSend program of VMMissions to host up to 4 interns who will live in Green Valley House for a year of discipleship and service at Highland and in the local community. Start-up costs include financial support for our first interns, improved indoor and outdoor spaces at Green Valley House, and more administrative staff time to operate the program.

3) Upper Campground bathhouse remodel (Goal: $55,000)

We have begun to make plans for what a remodeled bathhouse facility in the Upper Highland Campground would look like. Our rough estimate of the cost also includes funds to extend the pavilion space, as our hope is to provide groups in that campground with more room to gather together along with a much-improved bathhouse.
